Glaucoma

How is glaucoma monitored?

The essence of glaucoma monitoring is to repeat the tests used to detect glaucoma and look very carefully for signs of change.

Glaucoma is a very slow disease and changes can take years to be detectable. Because the damage done by glaucoma is irreversible, it is important to detect change as early as possible and increse treatment to prevent further deterioration.
